Three Icelandic ingredients from the sea, hand-harvested along Iceland's shores

Irish moss (Chondrus crispus) and knotted wrack (Ascophyllum nodosum). The ingredients are either hand-harvested or sourced from the Icelandic marine environment, which is among the cleanest in the world.

Irish moss (Chondrus crispus) Irish moss, known in Icelandic as *Fjörugrös*, grows along the southern and southwestern shores of Iceland. Irish moss has been used for human consumption for centuries, with various products derived from it. It contains a wealth of nutrients, including protein, vitamins A and B1, iodine, and minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iron, and phosphorus.

The sea moss we use is hand-harvested along Iceland's shores, unlike the majority of seaweed on the market today. Data shows that about 97% of the world's seaweed comes from cultivation, much of which is located in Southeast Asia. Consequently, a large portion of "hand-harvested" seaweed is not actually hand-harvested. *Chondrus crispus* can also be cultivated, but this has largely proven to be unprofitable, so almost all *Chondrus crispus* on the market is hand-harvested from the wild.

Knotted wrack (Ascophyllum nodosum) Knotted wrack is a brown alga that grows in the intertidal zones along Iceland's shores and is among the natural ingredients with the highest iodine content. Knotted wrack is one of the oldest and best-known utility plants in the North Atlantic and has been used for centuries for both human consumption and animal feed.

Iodine contributes to:

• normal thyroid function and the normal production of thyroid hormones
• normal cognitive function
• normal energy-yielding metabolism
• normal functioning of the nervous system
• the maintenance of normal skin
• normal growth of children

Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Calcium also contributes to:

• normal muscle function
• normal neurotransmission
• normal blood clotting
• normal energy-yielding metabolism
• normal function of digestive enzymes
• the process of cell division and specialization

Content: 90 capsules Allergens: The ingredients are sourced from the sea and may contain traces of fish, crustaceans, and mollusks.

Cordyceps sinensis is a renowned mushroom that has been highly respected in various cultures due to its long history of use. It has played a role in traditional practices for centuries, particularly in China, where the Chinese team at the 1992 Olympics referred to it as their "secret weapon."

Just like the lion itself, the Lion’s Mane mushroom is packed with strength. Bursting with fiber, protein, and a variety of vitamins and minerals, it is especially known for its natural polysaccharides and beta-glucan content.

These unique and beautiful mushrooms, resembling a thick, shiny lion’s mane, are not only a visual marvel but have also been widely studied for their cognitive effects.

The Clear Focus formula is designed to get you as far as possible without a crash. The ingredients blend together physiologically to build both a long-term foundation for the brain and daily functionality.

The core of the formula lies in the synergy between neurotransmitter precursors and cellular structure. Citicoline, as a precursor to phosphatidylcholine and acetylcholine, is linked to the structure of cell membranes and neurotransmitter systems, while L-tyrosine is associated with the metabolism of catecholamine neurotransmitters. These substances are often studied together in the context of nervous system activity and cognitive processes.

The adaptogens Panax ginseng and Rhodiola rosea are combined with consideration for research into the body's adaptation to stress and cognitive stimuli. These ingredients are generally examined in connection with the body's stress response systems, including the HPA axis, thereby forming the basis for a balanced approach rather than stimulation.

Blood flow and nutrient transport are part of the overall design of the formula. Pine bark extract and Ginkgo biloba are both extensively studied in relation to the circulatory system and vascular transport, which in a theoretical context relates to the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to tissues, including brain tissue.

Nervous system protection and cellular balance are supported by substances that have been studied for oxidative balance and cellular protection. Astaxanthin, Bacopa, and Icelandic moss fall into this category, as they have been examined in connection with oxidative stress, cell membranes, and bioactive plant compounds.

Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) connects to this overall picture through research concerning nerve growth factor (NGF) and neuroplasticity, particularly in cell studies and animal models, thereby adding a dimension related to the structure and maintenance of the nervous system.

Overall, the formula is designed as an integrated system where each ingredient has a defined role within a larger physiological context.
