Three Icelandic ingredients from the sea, hand-harvested along Iceland's shores
Irish moss (Chondrus crispus) and knotted wrack (Ascophyllum nodosum). The ingredients are either hand-harvested or sourced from the Icelandic marine environment, which is among the cleanest in the world.
Irish moss (Chondrus crispus) Irish moss, known in Icelandic as *Fjörugrös*, grows along the southern and southwestern shores of Iceland. Irish moss has been used for human consumption for centuries, with various products derived from it. It contains a wealth of nutrients, including protein, vitamins A and B1, iodine, and minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iron, and phosphorus.
The sea moss we use is hand-harvested along Iceland's shores, unlike the majority of seaweed on the market today. Data shows that about 97% of the world's seaweed comes from cultivation, much of which is located in Southeast Asia. Consequently, a large portion of "hand-harvested" seaweed is not actually hand-harvested. *Chondrus crispus* can also be cultivated, but this has largely proven to be unprofitable, so almost all *Chondrus crispus* on the market is hand-harvested from the wild.
Knotted wrack (Ascophyllum nodosum) Knotted wrack is a brown alga that grows in the intertidal zones along Iceland's shores and is among the natural ingredients with the highest iodine content. Knotted wrack is one of the oldest and best-known utility plants in the North Atlantic and has been used for centuries for both human consumption and animal feed.
Iodine contributes to:
- normal thyroid function and the normal production of thyroid hormones
- normal cognitive function
- normal energy-yielding metabolism
- normal functioning of the nervous system
- the maintenance of normal skin
- normal growth of children
Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Calcium also contributes to:
- normal muscle function
- normal neurotransmission
- normal blood clotting
- normal energy-yielding metabolism
- normal function of digestive enzymes
- the process of cell division and specialization

Ingling’s Beetroot Extract is packed with nitrates that, according to research, can:
A.) Increase endurance: The nitrates can enhance blood flow, improve oxygen uptake, and boost stamina. It’s like adding rocket fuel to your workouts or daily activities.
B.) Improve heart function: These nitrates have also been found in studies to support the relaxation and widening of blood vessels, which can lower blood pressure and improve heart health.
C.) Natural energy boost: No artificial ingredients or stimulants. You get pure, natural energy that lasts, without the jitters or stomach aches that often come with stimulants, at least from our experience...
D.) Support healthy digestion and reduce inflammation: Beets are rich in fiber and antioxidants that can support the digestive system and help reduce inflammation in the body.
E.) Maximize nutrient value: With a 10:1 extract, you get the essence of the beetroot, meaning more potency in every dose without needing to eat an entire garden of beets.
In essence, you’re getting the pure, unprocessed power of the beetroot to enhance your performance without the nonsense.
P.S. Daníel noticed he had to make this beetroot powder after experiencing a massive pump in the gym following eating a few beets before his workout.

D3 helps absorb calcium. K2 directs it to the right place. The calcium itself comes from Icelandic algae.
Vitamin D on its own is only half the story. It increases calcium absorption from food—but without K2, some of that calcium ends up in arterial walls instead of bones. K2 (MK-7) activates the proteins that direct calcium into the bones and keep it away from the arteries. That is why they are together in this capsule, with 150 mg of calcium from Lithothamnion red algae that grows off the coast of Iceland.
What’s in the capsule?
- Vitamin D3 – 50 mcg (2,000 IU): Ten times the reference value—the dosage needed to maintain Vitamin D levels in the blood throughout the Icelandic winter, when the sun does nothing for you from October through April.
- Vitamin K2 (MK-7) – 100 mcg: MK-7 is the longest-acting form of K2—a half-life of about three days, compared to hours for MK-4. One capsule per day maintains a stable concentration.
- Calcium – 150 mg and Magnesium – 10 mg from Lithothamnion: The ICECAL calcium algae is harvested from the sea off Iceland. A natural mineral form with over 70 trace elements, not mined calcium carbonate.
Who is it for?
Everyone living in Iceland from October to April. Women over forty. Those who train heavily and place strain on their bones. Those who already take Vitamin D but have never paired it with K2.
How do you use it?
One capsule daily with a fatty meal—Vitamin D3 and K2 are both fat-soluble and absorption is multiplied with fat. Vitamin D levels in the blood increase over 6–8 weeks.
Packaging: 60 capsules • 60-day supply • 1 capsule per day
Contents per capsule: Lithothamnion algae 470 mg, Vitamin D3 50 mcg, Vitamin K2 MK-7 100 mcg. Vegetable cellulose capsule. No additives.

Three substances the thyroid needs. The iodine comes from knotted wrack that grows off the coast of Iceland.
The thyroid regulates metabolic rate, energy, temperature, and weight—and it needs three raw materials to produce its hormones: iodine to build them, selenium to activate them, and zinc to sense them. Klóþang puts all three into one capsule, with iodine from Icelandic knotted wrack (Ascophyllum nodosum) instead of solely synthetic iodine.
What is in the capsule?
- Icelandic knotted wrack – 414 mg, total iodine 381 mcg: Hand-harvested in Iceland. Knotted wrack is one of the most iodine-rich plants in the world and contains trace elements that pure potassium iodide does not.
- Zinc (bisglycinate) – 12 mg: 120% of the reference value. For the immune system, skin, hair, and thyroid sensitivity—in the form that is best absorbed.
- Selenium (selenium-enriched yeast) – 100 mcg: Organic selenium from yeast, not sodium selenite. Selenium is necessary to convert T4 into the active T3 hormone.
For whom?
Those who experience fatigue, coldness, and a slow metabolism. Those who eat little fish and dairy products—the primary sources of iodine for Icelanders. People who want Icelandic raw materials in their supplements.
How do you use it?
One capsule daily with food. The thyroid works slowly; give it 6–8 weeks.
Packaging: 90 capsules • 90-day supply • 1 capsule per day
Content per capsule: Icelandic knotted wrack 414 mg, zinc bisglycinate 40 mg, selenium-enriched yeast 46 mg, potassium iodide. Vegetable cellulose capsule. No additives.
